Portrait of Catherine Veron de la Croix (1729-1808)

Her husband, Bernard Prudent Bruley was appointed mayor of Tours in 1790 and Deputy of the Department Indre et Loire to the Legislative Assembly, the little escaped the gallows in 1793 thanks to the reaction of 9 Thermidor.

Oil on the canvas and Chassis has original Keys around 1800
